The prices of lithium (LiFePO4) batteries in Pakistan vary widely depending on battery capacity, brand, warranty period, and market conditions, with rates ranging from around Rs98,000 to Rs2.8 million.
For standard residential solar setups, particularly 5kW systems, a reliable 5.12kWh lithium battery is currently available in the range of Rs205,000 to Rs270,000.
Current Lithium Battery Market Rates by Capacity
- 2.5kWh to 2.6kWh batteries (such as 25.6V/100Ah models): Rs130,000 to Rs145,000
- 5kWh to 5.1kWh batteries (such as 51.2V/100Ah models): Rs205,000 to Rs270,000
- 10kWh batteries (such as 51.2V/200Ah models): Rs430,000 to Rs550,000
- 15kWh to 16kWh high-capacity batteries: Rs600,000 to Rs1.4 million
Among popular brands, Phoenix lithium batteries start from around Rs65,500 for compact 12.8V units, while higher-capacity 51.2V models are priced around Rs272,500.
Pylontech and Dyness batteries remain popular choices for solar energy systems, with standard 5kWh modules generally priced between Rs200,000 and Rs250,000.
Budget and mid-range options from brands such as Itel and Crown Micro are available at approximately Rs235,000 to Rs250,000 for 5kWh units, while Pakistani manufacturer MaxPower offers relatively more affordable alternatives.
Market experts note that lithium battery prices continue to fluctuate due to changes in the dollar exchange rate, import costs, stock availability, and warranty terms. Most manufacturers offer warranties ranging from five to 10 years, which also affects the final price.
