A person was killed in a security guard’s firing in North Nazimabad Block C area of Shahr-e-Quaid. According to the police, the incident took place after a heated argument.
Police said that the deceased has been identified as Waleed, who was immediately shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital after the firing, where he died.
According to the authorities, the deceased Waleed was a resident of Block 10, Federal B Area and son of retired DSP Shamim Arif, who had come to his sister’s house at the time of the incident. The police said that the deceased was hit by three bullets on his body.
According to the police, after reaching the spot after the incident, the guard of a private security company, Vakil Ahmed, was arrested and weapons were also recovered from him.
Authorities said that further investigation into the incident is underway and a case has been registered and legal action has been initiated.
