Another passport office has been inaugurated in Karachi, providing the public with a 24-hour passport issuance facility. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the passport office established at the NADRA Mega Center in North Nazimabad today.
According to details, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, accompanied by DG Passport Mustafa Jamal Qazi, visited the NADRA Mega Center in North Nazimabad, where the inauguration ceremony of the passport office was held. During the inauguration, officials briefed Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on the working of the passport office.
During the briefing, it was stated that the office will provide passport issuance services to citizens in three shifts. Citizens will be able to benefit from the 24-hour passport issuance facility. During his visit, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi inspected the passport issuance counters and met with staff as well as citizens who came to apply for identity cards and passports.
Speaking on the occasion, citizens expressed satisfaction with the improved services provided by the office at the NADRA Mega Center. They praised the passport issuance facility, stating that it has made things much easier for them.
It is worth noting that obtaining a passport or identity card in Karachi, the country’s largest city, is considered one of the most challenging tasks due to overcrowding at passport and NADRA offices, causing difficulties for countless citizens.
