In Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Hadeed Phase 2, two criminals stole a man’s mobile phone and escaped within 45 seconds. The robbery, which was captured on CCTV, was reported by national media.
According to ARY News on Saturday, CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced online and gone viral. The robbery took place behind the victim’s house in District Malir, Gulshan-e-Hadeed area.
The footage shows a young man holding his mobile phone when two alleged criminals approach him on a motorcycle. They accelerate toward him, and one of them grabs the young man.
One of the robbers seizes the victim by his neck, causing him to panic and try to flee. During the violent encounter, the other criminal, wearing a shalwar kameez, pulls out a gun and chases the victim.
Eventually, the young man hands over his phone to the criminals. Before fleeing, one of the robbers slaps the victim and searches him for other valuables. The entire incident is visible in the CCTV footage.
