The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) anticipates the continuation of cold and dry weather in Karachi, Hyderabad, and most districts of Sindh over the next two days.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing in the majority of Pakistan.
In these circumstances, Karachi, Hyderabad, and most parts of Sindh are expected to experience mainly cold and dry weather on Sunday evening/night, Monday, and Tuesday. In Karachi, the minimum temperature is projected to range between 15-17 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday. Similarly, in Hyderabad, the minimum temperature is expected to remain between 13-15 degrees Celsius on both days.
Dense fog/smog is likely to persist in Jacobabad, Hyderabad, Mohenjo-Daro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki, Khairpur, Kashmore, and Padidan during morning and night hours.
During the last 24 hours, cold and dry weather prevailed in Karachi, Hyderabad, and most parts of Sindh. Mohenjo-Daro recorded the lowest temperature in Sindh, dropping to 06 degrees Celsius.
In the morning, the relative humidity was measured at 93 percent. In Karachi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 15 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 79 percent. In Hyderabad, the minimum temperature was recorded at 13 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 62 percent.
Dense fog/smog disrupted traffic on both inter and intra-city roads.
