K-Electric has announced a scheduled maintenance shutdown across a couple of areas of Karachi on Friday June 12, 2026, during which residents are likely to face extended power outages lasting between 8 to 10 hours, depending on their locality.
According to the utility provider, electricity supply will remain suspended from 8:59am to 5:59pm as part of planned maintenance work aimed at improving the city’s power distribution system and ensuring better service reliability.
