The wait for Sai Pallavi’s Bollywood debut is officially over as Aamir Khan Productions unveiled the first teaser for the romantic drama Ek Din today.
Starring Junaid Khan alongside the Premam star, the film is already being hailed by netizens as a “breath of fresh air” in the Hindi film industry.
Directed by Sunil Pandey, Ek Din is the official Indian remake of the 2016 Thai hit One Day.
The teaser features breathtaking visuals of the lead pair amidst the snowy, picturesque landscapes of Sapporo, Japan.
The story follows Rohan (Junaid Khan), a hopeless romantic who falls for his colleague Meera (Sai Pallavi).
The teaser captures their “organic chemistry” through quiet moments sharing ice cream on frozen streets and dancing in the snow.
It ends on a poignant note with Junaid’s character promising, “Magic happens,” in response to Meera’s skepticism about movie-like romance in real life.
While the film’s title reminds many of the hit 2007 song “Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein” from the movie Naqaab, this 2026 release aims to carve its own identity as a raw, 90s-style love story.
