Unknown armed men on Monday attacked the judicial complex, abducted a judge, and set the building on fire in Khuzdar district of Balochistan.
According to police, unknown armed men attacked the judicial complex in Khuzdar and set the building ablaze. During the attack, the armed men abducted on-duty Judge Jan Muhammad, and fled the scene.
Following this, security forces and police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Police and rescue teams arrived at the site and began firefighting efforts, which continued for several hours before the fire was brought under control. Due to the fire, judicial records inside the complex were reduced to ashes.
Police said that checkpoints have been established on all routes to search for Judge Jan Muhammad, and the search operation is ongoing.
Further investigations are underway, and senior officials have requested a report to determine the nature and motives behind the attack.
