Masjid Rehmat ul Alamin F/8 in Islamabad has established a free-of-charge marriage hall in the federal capital to assist poor families in celebrating their daughters’ marriages with respect and dignity.
The management of Islamabad’s F8 neighborhood’s Masjid Rehmat ul Alamin has taken the initiative. The wedding venue will supply dishes, seating arrangements, wait staff, and cuisine to treat the guests with decency and respect.
The hall has a three-hour time limit and includes a stage for the bride and groom. The mosque management allows parents to either solemnize the Nikkah of their daughter themselves or choose a Khateeb of their choice for the ceremony.
Deserving parents should get in touch with the mosque management committee to reserve the venue.
The mosque committee member Taj Qamar stated that the marriage-related activities will go on uninterrupted even when there were prayers being conducted.
In order to dispel some superstitions and establish a blessed environment that will support a new life, he recommended people to connect their daughters’ departure with the call to prayer (Azan) and prayer (Salah).
In order to prioritize Islamic teachings while avoiding excess by religious teachings, the mosque advises families planning to attend the event to keep the number of visitors to 100 or 120 people, with an equal number of men and women.
