ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Farrukh Rasheed today (Thursday) has announced the reopening of licence branches to facilitate the public by following the standard operating procedure (SOPs).
SSP Traffic Farrukh Rasheed said that keeping in view the sensitivity of the COVID-19 pandemic, the licence branches have been reopened under strict observance of approved SOPs.
“All the visitors are requested to follow the SOPs. Nobody will be allowed into the driving Licence branch without a mask and gloves,” the SSP traffic added. At the entry gate, the officials of the traffic police check the temperature of the visitors and offers hand sanitizers to curb the coronavirus outbreak.
He further said that efforts were being made to ensure that the citizens do not face any difficulties. “We have directed the traffic personnel to behave well with the citizens and show high morals,” he added.
We have made it very easy and simple for citizens to obtain driving through one window operation, for which well-mannered staff is deployed,” he informed, adding that they hope the citizens will also cooperate with the traffic officials.
