A spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, has warned that any ground operation would end in the “humiliating capture” of American troops.
In his latest statement, Ebrahim Zolfaghari issued a strong warning to the United States and Israel, stating that any action against Iran would result in severe consequences, adding that US forces would be turned into “food for Gulf fish”.
He criticised former US President Donald Trump, claiming he had become a “puppet” of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the conflict with Iran.
He further alleged that Trump understands only the language of power and that his policies have harmed not only the American public but also the wider region and the world.
The spokesperson also claimed that Trump is under pressure from Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad due to the “Epstein files” scandal, and is making decisions accordingly. He added that Iran is fully prepared to respond decisively to any aggression.
