Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and the country’s security chief, has claimed that Iran has captured several U.S. soldiers whom Washington reports as killed in the ongoing conflict, adding that attacks on American bases in the region will continue.
In a message on the social media platform X, Larijani claimed that multiple U.S. soldiers have been taken prisoner, although American authorities continue to claim they were killed in action.
He added that Washington’s attempts to conceal the truth are futile and that the reality will not remain hidden from the world for long.
It has been reported to me that several American soldiers have been taken prisoner. But the Americans claim that they have been killed in action. Despite their futile efforts, the truth is not something they can hide for too long.

The Iranian security chief further warned regional countries to prevent the U.S. from using their territory against Iran, saying that otherwise, Iran would be forced to stop it directly.
Larijani stressed that Iran will take all possible measures to avenge the blood of its leaders and citizens, asserting that U.S. President Donald Trump will have to pay the price for these actions.
Earlier, in an interview with Iranian state television, Larijani said that the U.S. had assumed it could replicate a scenario in Iran similar to that in Venezuela.

He explained that Washington believed it could seize control by attacking Iran and resolve the matter quickly, but those assumptions proved wrong, leaving the U.S. deeply entangled in the situation.
The security chief also warned Kurdish groups, saying that the Iranian military has made it clear they will be held accountable for any wrongdoing.
