During a detailed meeting with the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, at his residence in Islamabad, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi discussed a range of issues with him.
According to a report by Pak Observer on Saturday, the two leaders discussed the current political situation in the country as well as matters of mutual interest. Mohsin Naqvi also inquired about the health and well-being of the JUI-F chief.
During the meeting, the interior minister extended his sincere wishes for Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s health while discussing the current law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). He assured that all stakeholders were on board to establish the rule of law in the Kurram region.
On this occasion, both leaders expressed their satisfaction over the arrival of relief goods for the residents of the Parachinar area. Mohsin Naqvi noted that certain nefarious elements were attempting to distort the truth to further their malicious agendas. He also commended the efforts of all stakeholders in the successful implementation of the jirga’s recent decisions.
