Indian kabaddi team arrived in Lahore on Tuesday via the Wagah Border for three-nation Baba Guru Nanak International Kabaddi Cup. The third nation is Iran.
The event is organised by the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation and scheduled to begin in Lahore from April 16 at the WAPDA Sports Complex.
The Iranian kabaddi has also reached Lahore. The three-day event, named in honor of Baba Guru Nanak, will feature elite kabaddi teams from Pakistan, Iran, and India competing for glory.
The Indian team, representing the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), reached Lahore via the Wagah Border, where they were warmly welcomed by officials of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation.
The international event is expected to draw kabaddi fans from across the country as teams from Pakistan, India, and Iran face off in a show of strength, skill, and traditional South Asian sport.
It should be noteworthy here that India is not allowing its cricket team to visit Pakistan for any cricket event, however, its policy on the kabaddi team is different.
