Indian politician blames China and Pakistan for smog in New Delhi

MEERUT: An Indian politician Agarwal Sharda has blamed China and Pakistan for the smog in New Delhi and adjacent areas.
In a video message, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Agarwal Sharda said, “There is a possibility that this poisonous gas could have been released by any neighbouring country which is afraid of India.”
The BJP leader further said, “ I feel that Pakistan or China are afraid of us. We must seriously consider whether Pakistan has released any poisonous gas.”
In this regard, senior Chinese official, Zhao Lijian responded posted a tweet and called Agarwal a joker.
Zhao Lijian said,  “What a joker! China sometimes takes the blame, but this time it took the God class blame. One may not draw such a conclusion, even if he or she thinks by the feet,”
India’s capital New Delhi is affected by smog. The Air Quality Index (AQI) has crossed 999 in the capital.
Residents in Delhi have complained of burning eyes and throats. More than 500 flights have been delayed at Delhi airport due to the thick smog.
Earlier today, Federal Minister for Science and Technology  Fawad Chaudhry had offered help to India in controlling air pollution by using a scientific method.
