Indian man calls police to report his missing sandals

A man in Karnataka, India decided to call the police hotline, not because of a life-threatening situation or a major crime, but because his clogs mysteriously disappeared from a town hall.

The Mangaluru North police sprang into action, determined to solve the case of the missing clogs. The complainant had attended an event in the hall and left his wooden shoes outside.

But when it was time to leave after a hearty lunch, he discovered that his prized clogs had vanished into thin air. Frustrated beyond measure, he dialed 112, the emergency number, to report the theft of his shoes.

NextThe call was quickly redirected to the Mangaluru North Police Station where officers took the matter seriously. A team was dispatched to the scene, eager to crack the case.

They meticulously reviewed CCTV footage, which provided a clue as to the identity of the culprit: a worker working on the site. However, the recovery of the stolen clogs remains difficult, as the police continue to search for the culprit.
