ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has asserted that India was becoming isolate at the international level and facing failures globally.
In a statement issued, the foreign minister said that no one can expect good deeds from India until the country maintains extremist Hindutva mindset.
He further said, “India has always demonstrated a negative approach and has never cooperated. Our thinking is positive and we will always present facts before the world.”
Commenting on Kulbhushan Jadhav case, FM Qureshi said that Pakistan honoured the decision of the International Court of Justice in the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav, despite the fact that he has confessed of committing terrorism in Pakistan.
He also said that Pakistan provided consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav, but Indian diplomats desisted from talking to him. “Pakistan allowed two Indian diplomats consular access to Commander Kulbhushan Jadhav as per agreed upon mechanism,” he added.
FM Qureshi pointed out that Pakistan also removed glass partition on the objection of Indian diplomats as well as there was no audio and video recording.
The Foreign Minister said that the Indian diplomats opted for escape instead of access to Kalbhushan. “Avoidance of Indian diplomats to talk to Commander Jhadav has exposed India’s malice as they did not want this access,” he concluded.
