Indian actress Urvashi Rautela has been facing severe criticism on social media for her ‘vulgar’ dance in a song from her upcoming film ‘Dakodi Maharaj’. The song, ‘Dabidi Dabidi’, features the actress alongside 64-year-old actor Nandamuri Balakrishna.
The choreography of the song has been labeled ‘immoral’ by social media users, who have been slamming Aarushi for her dance moves. Defending herself, Urvashi Rautela said she didn’t do anything unusual and didn’t expect such a reaction.
Urvashi clarified that the song was designed for Balakrishna’s fans, and the lyrics were written accordingly.
She stated, “When you see my rehearsal clips, you’ll realize everything was fine. It was like any other song. I was working with Master Sekhar, with whom I’ve worked three times before.”
Urvashi acknowledged that she accepts constructive criticism but doesn’t let it affect her passion for work.
Regarding the backlash, she said, “We never thought people would talk about it in this manner. We thought we’d get a positive response.”
