Noreen Niazi, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, sustained injuries after falling into an under-construction drain on Adiala Road on Tuesday.
According to reports, Noreen slipped while attempting to cross an excavation site near Dahgal Naka after police stopped her vehicle. She fell into the drain and suffered injuries to her hands, feet and nose. Rescue personnel and passersby pulled her out and shifted her to a safer location for immediate assistance.
Another woman accompanying her also fell during the incident and sustained injuries.

Noreen, along with her sisters and other female family members, had arrived to meet the former prime minister at Adiala Jail. The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has designated Tuesday as a family meeting day, and Khan’s family routinely visits the jail on that day.
However, the family has alleged that authorities have barred them from meeting the PTI founder for the past four months despite court orders, forcing them to wait outside the facility on multiple occasions.
