During the call, a voice claiming to be that of Azam Khan can be heard indicating that the cypher arrived around the eighth or ninth of the month, while Khan claimed that the meeting took place the previous day, on the seventh.
Khan then emphasized the need to avoid mentioning the United States, declaring that it is of the utmost importance for their decision not to mention the country’s name because of diplomatic relations.
Asad Umar, a senior PTI politician, contradicted the party chairman by stating that it was really a transcript of the meeting rather than a letter. To that the former premier said it would be easier for public to understand that word letter than transcript.
Azam Khan allegedly then advised Imran to hold a meeting with then foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and the foreign secretary.
Imran Khan can be heard saying write down the minutes of the meeting.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Friday the “false narrative” of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, declaring the incumbent government a “product of conspiracy” had been totally shattered after the recent audio leak.
He said Imran Niazi wasted five months of the nation by concocting lies and propaganda about his successor government, however, his own audio leak exposed his fraudulence.
