ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has ordered not to arrest former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the Al-Azizia and Avenfield properties case, while the arrest warrants of the Tosha Khana case under hearing in the Accountability Court were also suspended.
According to the details, a two-member bench headed by Chief Justice IHC heard the applications for protective bail in Al-Azizia and Avonfield cases. NAB Prosecutors Afzal Qureshi and Rafi Maqsood also appeared in the court.
Nawaz Sharif’s lawyers Azam Nazir Tarar and Amjad Parvez informed the court that the trial court declared Nawaz Sharif as an advertisement whose warrant has been suspended.

The High Court directed the police to stop the arrest of Nawaz Sharif in the Al-Azizia and Avenfield references in view of the orders of the accountability court. Nawaz Sharif’s security bond till October 24 was also approved.
Judge Muhammad Bashir heard the request for warrant suspension in the Tosha Khana case in the Accountability Court Islamabad. Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Kazi Misbah gave arguments and said that Nawaz Sharif wants to appear in court. The court should suspend the arrest warrant.
Judge Muhammad Bashir said that the Tosha Khana case against Nawaz Sharif is under the supervision of NAB Court 3. The lawyer informed the court that the hearing is to be held on October 24 in your court. Nawaz Sharif is ready to appear, on the court has called for the record of the case.
The court was informed that the medical report of Nawaz Sharif has been attached, there is no warrant for Nawaz Sharif from NAB. The NAB prosecutor said that if Nawaz Sharif wants to surrender before the court, then the warrant will have to be suspended till October 24.
After the arguments of the NAB prosecutor and the lawyer, the court reserved its decision on the warrant suspension application for some time, which was heard later. The court suspended Nawaz Sharif’s arrest warrant till October 24.
