The IG added that the individuals responsible for instigating the unrest would be arrested immediately. He mentioned that miscreants had fired at the police, injuring several of their personnel. He also highlighted that foreign miscreant elements are hiding among the protesters, and these foreign miscreants must be identified and dealt with.

IG Islamabad has dispatched fresh police units to D-Chowk. It is worth noting that participants from PTI convoys arriving from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have reached Islamabad’s Red Zone, where clashes with the police are ongoing at various locations.

According to the details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, held a press conference at D-Chowk, Islamabad, where senior police officers were also present.

During the press conference, IG Islamabad said that no citizen is facing any obstruction while traveling, and instead of completely blocking areas where there are restrictions, Islamabad Police ensured that traffic continued to flow so that citizens did not face difficulties.
