Mufti Aziz ur Rehman, a cleric whose leaked video of sexually assaulting a teenage seminary student went viral on social media, has called it a conspiracy against him.
Mufti Aziz ur Rehman, who has been terminated by the seminary in Lahore on an immediate basis after the leaked viral video, in a video message, defended himself. He first claimed that the video is fake, later, he claimed that the boy was not forced to commit any sexual act, according to him it was consensual and committed at his own will.
The accused says he was given drugs to make him what he did & it was recorded as part of conspiracy to oust him from seminary by main character (victim) at the behest of teachers Asadullah Farooq & Syed Rasool, the latter an Afghan who “has fraudulently obtained Pakistani CNIC.” https://t.co/3sZ8UagpUJ pic.twitter.com/kmrYUdstps

He also pointed out in the video Mufti cannot be seen forcing the teenage student. Interestingly, the 70-year-old cleric further claimed that he was probably drugged by the student, who secretly shot the video.
Mufti Aziz, in a video message, alleged that it is a conspiracy against him as several people inside the seminary wanted him expelled. He once again reiterated, ”This video is fake as you cannot even see me move in it”. He also claimed that his accuser went missing and he has not seen him in two weeks. Mufti believes he was given drugs and what he did was subconscious.
