Bollywood actor-director Farhan Akhtar, who recently made his Hollywood debut starring in Ms. Marvel, has reacted to joining the MCU and said that he stood like a superhero.
The fourth episode of the ongoing mini-series starring Iman Vellani introduced Farhan Akhtar as the leader Waleed of the Red Daggers as the story takes Kamala to her roots in Pakistan to find out more about the ancestral bracelet that provided her with extraordinary powers making her the titular superhero.
Now, in a recent interactive session dropped by Disney+ Hotstar, the actor-filmmaker answered some interesting questions about Marvel. Sharing his first reaction to the news of being cast in Marvel Studios’ Ms Marvel, he said, “You automatically start feeling like a superhero when someone tells you that you are going to be part of the MCU. I stood like a superhero, just missing my cape.”

Meanwhile, the season finale of Ms. Marvel is in the next two episodes. The series has been directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, a two-time Oscar winner in the short documentary category, and Meera Menon.
Along with Iman and Farhan, the series boasts a tremendous supporting cast of Fawad Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Nimra Bucha, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Zenobia Shroff, Saagar Shaikh, and Rish Shah.
