KARACHI: Actor Humayun Saeed has joined Prime Minister’s relief fund by announcing to donate Rs.500,000 in order to combat the COVID-19 fight.
Humayun Saeed recently announced to donate Rs.500,000 in the fund and said, “Together we can pull out the country from testing times.” The actor added, “Pakistani people have supported each other in difficult times and will show the same spirit this time.”
Moreover, Mere Pass Tum Ho actor had sent prayers to actress Nadia Jamil, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Humayun Saeed in a tweet wrote, “Praying for your speedy recovery Nadia Jamil.”

Nadia Jamil has been diagnosed with stage-1 breast cancer and a grade three tumour. She on 3rd April made the emotional announcement on Twitter. While expressing her emotions, she said, “Now four days into treatment. In the last few days, I have felt all sorts of feelings from apprehension, fear, unbeatably huge love to calm, acceptance, patience, overwhelming gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility to my children, parents, loved ones, myself and you.”
She went on to elaborate on the type of cancer she is fighting, along with the stage it is at and also urged the women to get regular checkups.
