‘Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva’ was released yesterday and at the end of the movie its sequel was already announced.
The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. The second film in the astraverse universe will be called ‘Brahmastra Part 2: Dev’. As we all know now, Dev is the father of Shiva (played by Ranbir Kapoor).
In part one, Dev was introduced but the makers hid his face through out the movie and now there are circulations who will play Dev in the second part.

There are rumours that have been circulating that Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan have been approached to play the lead role in the movie. The first film in the trilogy establishes Dev’s character well. This makes way for an intriguing story around him in the second one.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva besides the main cast also features a cameo role of Shah Rukh Khan in the movie.

Brahmastra has made a strong start at the box office. As per trade sources, the film has earned somewhere in excess of ₹60 crore globally, with over ₹40 crore from India alone. These are easily the highest numbers for any Hindi film post-pandemic.
