The fifth installment of Bollywood’s popular comedy film franchise Housefull—titled Housefull 5—is now available on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical release.
The film is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
Housefull 5 features a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Nikitin Dheer, and Aakash Dabhade.
What makes this film especially unique for fans is that it has been released in two distinct versions: Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B.
Since the movie is a murder mystery comedy, each version ends differently—with a different killer in each.
Both versions are now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video, but there’s an interesting condition: according to a report by Hindustan Times, they are available only on rent.
To watch Housefull 5 online, viewers must pay ₹349 INR for one version. If they wish to watch the second version to discover the alternate ending, they must pay another ₹349 INR, making the total ₹698 INR to view both versions.
It is currently unclear when the film will become free to stream or be included in Prime Video’s subscription catalog.
