Hidden cameras found in ladies’ washroom of Lahore hostel

LAHORE: A hidden camera was discovered in the washroom of a women’s hostel in Johar Town, Lahore On Sunday. In response, Lahore police have filed charges against seven individuals, including the owner of the hostel. The cameras were allegedly used to create indecent videos of the female residents.

The investigation revealed that the hostel management had covertly installed the camera in the washroom, violating the privacy of the female students living there. The disturbing discovery was made after a student’s uncle raised a complaint.

Police investigation teams recorded statements from the residents, who confirmed the presence of the cameras in the washrooms. At the time, over 40 women from various cities were residing in the hostel.

The accused include Saghir from Vehari, Tavar Shahzad from Sheikhupura, Mohammad Zubair from Jhang, Irfan from Pakpattan, and Ali Hassan from Rahim Yar Khan. Following the discovery, all the accused individuals fled the scene. The police, after registering the case, promptly evacuated the hostel.
