Samsung’s Galaxy A55 5G is the latest addition to the company’s A-series of affordable phones.
Similar to the A54 5G from the previous year, the A-series seeks to offer a strong all-around experience at a far lesser cost than the flagship Galaxy S24 line. This trend is maintained by the new Galaxy A55, which comes with a triple camera configuration, a massive 6.6-inch display, a powerful octa-core processor, and good all-around features all packed into a vibrant glass and metal shell.
Powered by an octa-core Exynos 1480 chip, the Galaxy A55 delivers ample power for everyday activities like Instagramming and web browsing. It can also handle games like Genshin Impact and PUBG at decent frame rates.
A 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera make up the triple back camera arrangement. For the budget, the wide and ultrawide cameras produce stunning photos with good exposures and sufficient information for Instagram sharing.
In Pakistan, the Samsung Galaxy A55 8GB+256GB is priced at Rs130,999.
Bank Alfalah’s installment offer
Bank Alfalah offers 3- and 6-month installment plans at zero percent markup. As of May 2024, the monthly installment is Rs43,666 for the three-month plan and Rs21,833 for the six-month plan. However, the bank will charge a one-time processing fee as per its schedule of charges.
