Another day, another rape case in Punjab. This time three men gang-raped a 14-year-old hearing-impaired girl in Siddiqpura area of Norwal.
The girl was initially abducted from her neighborhood and later subjected to sexual assault, local media reported on Wednesday.
As per police, they have identified the suspects and arrested one already, while raids are being carried out to apprehend others.
Meanwhile, police have arrested the main suspect in a case related to the alleged gang-rape of a female student of a government university in Lahore.
The police said that the accused, Haseeb Afzal, has been arrested and raids are being conducted to apprehend the other two suspects, Talha and Hamza.
Police on Tuesday said that an MPhil student was raped in Lahore’s Muslim area. The victim registered the first information report (FIR) at the Women Police Station.
