The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has called on Iran to halt attacks on neighbouring Arab countries in the Gulf and adopt a cautious strategy to prevent the conflict from spreading across the region.
According to a report published by a London-based Arab magazine, Hamas said in a statement issued on Saturday that Iran has the full right, under international law, to respond to attacks against it using all available means.
The statement added that Hamas appeals to its “brothers inside Iran” to avoid targeting neighbouring Gulf states, warning that such actions could further escalate tensions in the region.
The organisation also stressed that all countries should work together to stop the war and make collective efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region.
