Govt will complete its 5 years tenure, says Governor Sindh

KARACHI: Governor of Sindh, Imran Ismail on Friday said that the incumbent government would complete its tenure of 5 years.
Talking to an eight-member delegation led by US Consul General in Karachi, Imran Ismail commented on Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman’s march and predicted that his march would not be successful.

The Sindh governor said, “Maulana is only causing harm to the projection of Kashmir issue. He should tell why those who plundered national wealth should not be held accountable.”
Imran Ismail said that the prime minister was concerned about the situation of Karachi and he has sought monthly briefing as well.
The Sindh governor said, “The basic issues of Karachi need to be resolved by the provincial government. Only local bodies could solve the administrative problems of the city.”
Talking about investment enhancement in the country, Governor Sindh said that various facilities were being provided to foreign investors in the country.
He said that after the restoration of peace in the country and in particular in Karachi the positive activities of sports, culture, and others were at their peak.
The crime rate was much lower in Karachi as compared to other cities in the world.
