ISLAMABAD: Former Finance Minister Miftah Ismail has said that the decision of the Supreme Court regarding the elections is out, so now the government should implement this decision.
Speaking to a private TV channel, Miftah Ismail advised the current government and said that the decision of the Supreme Court regarding the elections has come, so the government should implement it. “If there is a full court, I think no judge will go beyond the limit of ninety days. Political leaders should stop watching and sit together now,” he said.
He said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) did not trust us, so they did not return the immediate tranche. The monetary fund also knows that giving money to Pakistan is very important. “If the IMF does not give dollars, they also know that Pakistan will go towards default,” he added.

Regarding the petrol subsidy, Miftah Ismail said that the government had shown haste. It is important to explain to the IMF about petrol subsidies.
The former federal minister added that I think we have reached an agreement with the IMF. “There is political instability, so friendly countries are also looking at it,” he said.
