Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Tuesday, mirroring the downward trend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold dropped by Rs2,500 per tola to settle at Rs434,963.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs2,143, bringing it down to Rs372,887, according to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, gold prices had risen by Rs2,700 per tola to reach Rs446,862.
In the international market, gold prices slipped by $25 to $4,125 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved lower, falling by Rs120 per tola to Rs6,559.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
