Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Saturday, mirroring losses in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold dropped by Rs600 to Rs481,862 per tola.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs515 to Rs413,118, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, gold had remained unchanged at Rs482,462 per tola.
In the international market, gold prices slipped by $6 to $4,595 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver prices also saw a decline, falling by Rs43 to Rs9,482 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
