Gold prices in Pakistan climbed on Saturday, following an upward trend in the international market. In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs7,100 to settle at Rs533,562.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs6,087, reaching Rs457,443, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, the price of gold per tola had gained Rs2,500 to close at Rs526,462.
In the global market, gold prices surged by $71 to $5,108 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded a significant increase, climbing by Rs374 to reach Rs8,948 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
