Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Tuesday, tracking downward trend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola declined by Rs4,000 to Rs450,862.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs3,429 to Rs386,541, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs2,600 to Rs454,862 in the local market.
In the international market, gold prices dropped $40 to $4,285 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices held steady at Rs6,532 per tola.
It should be noted that the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
