Gold prices further surged in Pakistan on Tuesday in line with a hike in the prices of the yellow metal in the international market.

As per the data shared by the All Pakistan Sarafa Jems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24 karat gold surged by Rs 1,500 per tola to Rs 416,778, while the price of 10grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 1286 to Rs 357,319.
Similarly, the price of 10grams of 22 karat gold surged by Rs 1179 to Rs 327,554. On the global front, the price of the yellow metal increased by $15 per ounce to $ 3,955.
Contrary to gold, silver prices dropped both in the local and international markets. In Pakistan, the price of 24 karat silver decreased by Rs 20 per tola to Rs 4929. Similarly, the price of 10grams of 24 karat silver decreased by Rs 17 to Rs 4225.
In the global market, silver prices dropped by $0.20 to $ 48.30 per ounce.
Earlier on Monday, gold prices surged in Pakistan by over 5000 per tola to reach an all-time high in the country’s history.
