Gold prices reached an all-time high in Pakistan after a Rs5400 per tola surge on Monday. In the international market, the price of the yellow metal also hit a record high with $54 per ounce hike.
As per the data shared by the All Pakistan Sarafa Jems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs5400 per tola to Rs415,278, a record high in the history of the country.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold surged by Rs 4629 to Rs 356033, and the price of 10grams of 22 karat gold reached Rs 326375 after an increase of Rs 4243.
On the global front, the price of gold per ounce hit $ 3940 following a hike of $ 54.
Silver prices also surge in both the local and international markets. In Pakistan, the price of 24 karat silver increased by Rs 53 to Rs 4949, and the price of 10grams of silver increased by Rs 45 to Rs 4242.
In the international market, the silver price surged by $0.53 per ounce to $48.50.
