The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also rose by Rs1,801 to Rs351,404 from Rs349,603, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up to Rs322,132 from Rs320,481, showing an increase of Rs1,651.
The price of per tola silver increased by Rs57 to Rs4,896, while the price of ten grams of silver rose by Rs49 to Rs4,197.
The price of international gold increased by US$21 to reach US$3,886, while international silver went up by US$0.57 to close at US$47.97.
