Gold prices further dropped in Pakistan on Saturday following a decline in the prices of the yellow metal in the international market.
The price of 24 karat per tola gold decreased by Rs.800 and was traded at Rs318,000 on Saturday, compared to its sale at Rs318,800 on the previous trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association reported.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat also decreased by Rs.686 to Rs.272,633 from Rs. 273,319, whereas the price of 10 gram 22 karat gold also went down by Rs. 629 to Rs.249,92 from Rs.250,551.
Per tola silver remained unchanged at Rs. 3,475 and ten-gram silver at Rs.2,979.
The Association reported that the price of gold in the international market decreased by $9 to $3022 from $3,031, whereas the price of silver remained unchanged at $33.10.
On Sunday new rate was not released due to the weekly off day, so the above rate will be in effect till 3 pm today and after that, the new rates will be announced.
