Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Wednesday, mirroring the downward trend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold dropped by Rs1,200, bringing the rate per tola to Rs440,662.
Likewise, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs1,029, settling at Rs377,796, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, on Tuesday, the per-tola price had slipped by Rs1,900 to reach Rs441,862.
Internationally, gold prices declined by $12, reaching $4,207 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices rose by Rs265 to reach Rs6,367 per tola.
It should be noted that the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
