The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association has released the latest interbank-based bullion rates, showing stability in gold prices across the country, while silver registered a notable increase on Thursday.
According to the updated rates

Gold (24K per tola): Rs. 528,562—unchanged

International gold price: $5,058—no change
However, silver prices moved upward in both local and international markets:

Silver (per tola): Rs. 8,825—up Rs. 90

Silver (per 10 grams): Rs. 7,566—up Rs. 78

International silver price: $83.50—up $0.90
Market analysts say the stability in gold reflects cautious global trading and a steady rupee-dollar parity, while the rise in silver indicates increased industrial demand and investor interest in comparatively cheaper precious metals.
Jewellers note that with wedding season approaching, buyers remain active but are increasingly opting for lighter jewelry due to historically high gold prices.
The bullion rates are calculated on the basis of interbank exchange rates and standardized 24-karat purity (999).
