Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward momentum on Tuesday, with the price of gold rising by PKR 5,900 to reach PKR 363,700 per tola in the local market.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by PKR 5,059, bringing it to PKR 311,814, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This follows a significant gain on Monday, when the per tola price surged by PKR 8,100, reaching a then-record high of PKR 357,800.
On the international front, gold also reached a new all-time high on Tuesday. According to APGJSA, the global rate rose by $59 during the day, settling at $3,454 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged, holding steady at PKR 3,441 per tola.
