Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Tuesday, tracking gains in the international market.
In the local bullion market, the price of gold per tola climbed by Rs1,300 to settle at Rs541,262.
Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,114, reaching Rs464,044, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Tuesday, the price of gold per tola climbed by Rs3,400 to settle at Rs539,962.
In the global market, gold prices advanced by $13 to $5,185 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also posted gains in the domestic market, rising by Rs268 to Rs9,554 per tola.
