Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Tuesday, mirroring a decline in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,100, reaching Rs274,900.
The price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,800, bringing it to Rs235,682, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In the previous session, gold prices in Pakistan had dropped by Rs800 per tola.
International gold prices also saw a decline on Monday. According to APGJSA, the price stood at $2,637 per ounce (with a $20 premium), after a $21 decrease during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady at Rs3,400 per tola.
