Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday, mirroring the upward trend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs800 to reach Rs457,366, according to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold climbed by Rs685 to Rs392,091.

On Saturday, gold had gained Rs2,200 per tola, taking its price to Rs456,536.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $8 to $4,349 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved higher, rising by Rs77 to reach Rs6,903 per tola.
