Gold price in Pakistan on Thursday recorded a massive gain, mirroring the upward trend in the international market.
In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola climbed by Rs7,900 to settle at Rs523,962.
Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs6,773 to Rs449,212, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

A day earlier, on Wednesday, gold per tola had increased by Rs1,300 to close at Rs516,062.
In the global market, gold prices surged by $79 to $5,012 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded an uptick, rising by Rs358 to reach Rs8,404 per tola.
