Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Wednesday after declining for a couple of sessions as the price of gold in the local market surged by Rs2,300 per tola, clocking in at Rs288,700.
The price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs1972 bringing it to Rs247,513, according to the rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, the price of gold per tola declined by Rs2700, settling at Rs286,400.
Meanwhile, the international gold rate also witnessed an increase on Wednesday. According to the APGJSA, the international price stood at $2,763 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $22 surge during the day.
Similarly, silver prices increased by Rs28, settling at Rs3391 per tola.
