Gold prices in Pakistan saw an upward trend on Thursday, with the price per tola reaching Rs274,700, reflecting a single-day increase of Rs1,100.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs943, settling at Rs235,511, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This followed a Rs1,000 increase in the gold price per tola on Wednesday.
On the global market, gold prices also climbed on Thursday. The APGJSA reported that the international rate stood at $2,635 per ounce, including a $20 premium, after gaining $11 during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady at Rs3,350 per tola.
